How does the free trial work?
A new account gets every Pro feature for 14 days, with no card. When the trial ends you move to the Free plan if your usage fits it; otherwise your account becomes read-only until you pick a plan. Your data is never deleted at the end of a trial.
Does it file my GST returns on the portal?
It prepares them. GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B come out as JSON you upload on the GST portal, with a CSV for each table, and a step-by-step filing guide. You (or your CA) still submit and sign on the portal.
Can I keep using Tally, or move from it?
Both. Export masters and vouchers (sales, credit notes, purchases, receipts, payments, journals) as Tally XML with your own ledger names, and import your customers from a Tally ledger export.
Can my CA see my books?
Yes. Invite your CA with the read-only CA role: they can see the books, returns and reports but cannot change anything. They can also download the audit pack, GST files and Tally XML. The CA / Firm plan is made for practices handling up to 25 businesses.
Can I get my data out?
Always. You can export all your data at any time, on every plan, including when your account is read-only or a payment has lapsed. Reports also export to PDF, Excel and CSV.
Which languages does it support?
Screens are in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu. Each person picks their own. Invoice labels can print in those languages and in Bengali.
How do I cancel?
Cancel your subscription from Settings, Billing. You keep the paid plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free if your usage fits, or read-only if it does not. Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.
Where is my data stored?
The hosted edition stores data in India. If you would rather keep it on your own machine, the desktop edition stores everything on your PC or your own MySQL server.
Is GST included in the price?
No. Plan prices exclude 18% GST, which is added on the invoice you receive for each payment. A business registered for GST can claim it as input tax credit.
